NASI
SOTO LAMONGAN

love is better than steak with someone you hate.”

about the recipe. It's about the girl who
impressed me. The girl who having dinner with
me.”

Have you ever taste Nasi Soto? there are so much kind of Soto from different region in Indonesia with their own special taste,
like Soto Betawi, Soto Banjar, Soto Makasar, Soto Lamongan,
Soto Kudus, etc. After spending the
whole day at Taman Sari Complex with
Renata, we decided to order Nasi Soto Lamongan and Wedang Ronde for our dinner. Though I
do like Soto, actually it isn’t my most favorite menu. I prefer for Nasi Rawon
than Nasi Soto Lamongan. Unfortunately, Nasi Rawon were not available at this restaurant.
The
weird thing that I don’t understand is, the soup of Soto Lamongan are so extremely delicious tasting for me that night. How could
it be? It shake my tongue, and the aroma
of the soup is very strong. It smell and taste like
heaven. I still don't see what's
so special with this restaurant. I
wonder if anyone
feels the same with me? This isn’t my first ‘Nasi Soto Lamongan’
experience with a smart-pretty friend of mine. I
don't know what kind of recipe they use, but it taste like no
others. What makes this restaurant food taste so yummy?
I finished my dinner before Renata.
Renata looks so tired when
we come at the restaurant. While
she eats her dinner, the tired of her face was gradually fading
away. She looks prettier now to me, and I can see her beauty face
clearly. When I look at the way she eat her dinner, I can imagine that she's a
well educated girl, with good manners.
I wouldn't say it in
front of her, obviously, but if I have to confess,
I really enjoyed
hanging out with her.I
admire her photography skills, then after a moment, I begin to admire her beauty.
May be I didn't
realize that before. I hope our friendships
will become
closer.
Even though she never say
it, Renata thought I was approaching Chensy.
Chensy and I are close friend. I don’t think Renata is right about; how do I
feel about Chensy, but
one thing I know for sure; I think I admire Renata
now even more. I wish I could have another
chance to be with Renata again. May be this is
the answer why Soto Lamongan taste so extremely delicious for me tonight. The
answer is ; the quality of the food has nothing to do with how
good or bad the cooking is. It’s not about the chef. It’s not about the recipe.
It's about the girl
who impressed me. The girl who having dinner with
me.
“A bowl of vegetables with someone you
love is better than steak with someone you hate.”
Proverb 15 : 17 (NLT

A small portion of Nasi
Soto Lamongan with Renata is much-much better than a full portion of Nasi Rawon
with someone I don’t like. Anyway, wether i can get Renata
or not, I believe Nasi Soto Lamongan is still a delicious food you should try. I
recommend if you come to Indonesia, you have to try it.
